Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Illinois
Since 2014, Poettker and its business partners have raised $135,000 from its annual golf classic for Big Brothers Big Sisters.聽 Proceeds are used to support BBBS’s mission to help children realize their potential and build their futures through strong and enduring one-on-one mentoring relationships.
Boy Scouts of America, Greater St. Louis Area Council
Poettker hosted the safety merit badge clinic for the聽Boy Scouts of America, Greater St. Louis Area Council.聽Twenty-five Boy Scouts plus troop leaders and family members participated in an interactive discussion and聽guided project tour illustrating how to apply safety techniques used on聽construction sites聽to home and community settings.
Community Link
Each year, Poettker employees and family members participate in聽Community Link鈥檚 Buddy Walk.聽This annual event raises awareness and funds for individuals diagnosed with Down syndrome.
Additionally, employees donate toys at the annual Christmas party聽to be distributed to聽local families in need聽through Community Link鈥檚 First Step Program.
